Excellent experience! I have been using hearing aids for many years due to my work in loud noise, and have been to many hearing professionals. For nearly a year I have been seeking a new home for my hearing needs, after my AuD retired. I visited several only to find them each lacking in equipment, concern, or competency. Finally I was recommended to Dr. Mary Margaret Griffin here at the Hearing Connection. She has a great personality and obviously values substance over sales techniques. It is always hard to find a person who can combine technical skill with heartfelt sympathy. Today, most hearing practices merely have hearing dispensers, lacking the long time study and theoretical understanding of sound science that Audiologists have spent years of study to acquire. Others are large chains, constantly failing at providing the very personalized care they claim in their glossy ads. And the remaining Audiologists seem most concerned about selling you hearing aids.
At the Hearing Connection, for sure they sell the best hearing aids, if you need them. And they can provide the many services that other companies make a big deal about. But what I like most about Dr. Griffin, is that she tells it like it is. She does not make sales the top item on her agenda. Rather she emphasizes skills and substance at a fair price.
Her skill and competency are obvious as she combines the technical with the therapeutic. Her sense of humor and personality are also a cut above what you will find at most hearing facilities and they make the experience... BETTER!

This place is top-notch!! I was visiting a couple of weeks ago. I had left my hearing aid charger at home and was going to be gone a week.
I called around to several places on my way to the airport- even sister franchises to the place I get my hearing aids at home. I was met with, “Sorry can’t help you but we can order you a new charger (to the tune of $300).
Enter The Hearing Connection: Eryn and Dr Griffin were truly sympathetic to my plight. She wasn’t sure if they had one but took down my information- the brand and model number of my device.
By the time I had landed in NYC, I had a voicemail where Eryn had contacted the manufacturer and her office had a charger that would be compatible with my device THAT I COULD BORROW! I was able to come in the next day and take their charger to use during my stay.
Folks, that was incredible customer service! If they go out of their way to help a complete stranger in a bind, who is not one of their customers, imagine what they can and will do for you.

Dr Parks is wonderful. I highly recommend The hearing connection, as they do a through exam and are incredibly patient and professional. Luke with your eyes and your teeth, a yearly hearing exam is important!
So I opted out of the $1250 extra. I had an appt. to get my 1st aids for 2 days later. I decided I could not finance the extra amount and called this in. So then they rescheduled my appt. for two weeks away. Is this how my $1498 is going to be spent with not caring whether I hear or not. This is with a different store, but is this the treatment I can expect?

This audiology practice has been my provider for several years now. Doctor Griffin is a very highly credentialed practitioner, but just as importantly she is straightforward, sympathetic, and offers practical advice and solutions that offer a path to improved hearing. In addition, her office is very professionally managed (the cordial, efficient, and considerate Erin), including notable attention to all the current public health protocols.
All together a pleasant experience! Testing, evaluation and consultation by an outstanding Doctor and support staff. Everything is explained clearly, questions answered and paperwork completed by staff, If you think you might have a hearing problem...you probably do! Go for an evaluation , I only wish I had done it sooner. My hearing aides are great, the most up to date technology allows me to hear clearly again, even in a crowded room.
